Toen zonden zij de ark Gods naar Ekron; maar het geschiedde, als de ark Gods te Ekron kwam, zo riepen die van Ekron, zeggende: Zij hebben de ark des Gods van Israël tot mij rondom gebracht, om mij en mijn volk te doden.
